BRICS Palette: South Africa

China is a key market for South African Tourism. In 2016, South Africa welcomed 117,144 visitors from China, representing a 38% year-on-year increase. South Africa and China also share a platform in the BRICS bloc of emerging economies. In September, the 9th BRICS Summit will be held in Xiamen, Fujian Province.
