Sony's reboot of Charlie's Angels starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska is now in Chinese theatres.

Charlie's Angels has an illustrated IMAX poster in China. The IMAX Company also helped in its promotion by arranging a special screening event last Saturday in Beijing.

But its box office to date has not lived up to expectations and reached only 55-million yuan or 7.8 million US dollars since it opened in Chinese cinemas on Nov 15.

Some Chinese moviegoers watched the film out of their fascination about Kristen Stewart. Many who have watched the film think it's just so-so and furthermore complained there's nothing interesting besides good-looking girls.

The Sony Pictures reportedly invested 330-million yuan (48-million US dollars) in rebooting Charlie's Angels.
