A brave American girl fights with disease

Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) is a connective tissue disorder which causes skin hyperextensibility. Patients with this disease are unable to walk as their tissue is fragile and their skin can be stretched further than normal. The Ehlers-Danlos Society research statistics show the prevalence is 1 in 2,500 to 1 in 5,000 people.[Photo:IC]
