A flamingo was spotted by a photographer in Hekou wetland in northwest China's Shaanxi Province, experts confirmed on Tuesday.
The photographer accidentally observed it earlier this month but couldn't confirm the species. He then reported to China Wildlife Conservation Association, and experts have confirmed it is a flamingo, which is under China's national-level protection.
