Int'l officials eye on current situation of overseas study in Beijing

Figures released by the Ministry of Education in China indicate that the population of overseas Chinese students increased to 546,000 in 2016, 36% more comparing in 2012. Many foreign educational officials say they welcome Chinese students to come and study, and they also point out that these international students are likely to play a significant role in future international trade between nations. They also introduced the current situation of studying in their country in the China International Educational Exhibition Tour. This event has been held annually in Beijing, Xi'an, Chengdu, Shanghai and Guangzhou for 18 years.
