Vermilion, which has significance in Taoist culture and was often used to paint ceramics in ancient times, has been applied by artist Meng Luding in his latest exhibition.

The artist, whose works are photographically real, is displaying over 120 pieces of art.

Some of these canvas pieces were created with pure mineral-cinnabar powder.

The artist also showed a series of his abstract artworks.

The exhibition will run until Dec 11.
