All Huawei terminal devices, with the exception of mobile phones, tablets and laptops, will come with the Chinese tech company's self-developed Harmony OS next year.

Huawei Consumer Business Software President Wang Chenglu announced at an event in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province that Harmony will become fully open source next August.

Wang also said they have been working on connecting Huawei devices with each other and are hoping their mobile phones will be able to connect with any device by any company.
