A British mum said she does not regret her decision to get her baby's ears pierced at just four months old, despite other parents having strong views against it.

In the video posted online, a baby can be seen screaming as the piercing is made while her mum tries to soothe her by putting a dummy in her mouth, prompting parents to label it child abuse and call for it to become illegal.

This practise can be found in China as well.  Some parents decide for their kids to pierce their ears when the children are young.

The audio clip is from Studio+, produced by CRI.
