Summer snapshot contest held in Mount Emei

A photography contest is being held by officials at the Mount Emei scenic area, Sichuan Province, to promote its tourism resources. 

The contest, running from August 7th to September 10th, is taken part by tourists visiting the scenic area.

All pictures must have the theme of Mount Emei during the summer season and have to be original works.

Participants will have a chance to be awarded 100 yuan if their photography works are selected. 

They can submit their pictures via Mount Emei's official Microblog, Wechat account, and website.

Every week, a total of 25 winners will be awarded. 

Mount Emei is famed for its magnificent natural landscapes and a profound Buddhist tradition. 

The fantastic landscapes such as the sunrise, sea of clouds, and sunset glow have attracted many tourists from home and abroad.
