Mount Emei International Mountaineering Festival to Kick Off

The 2017 Mount Emei International Mountaineering Festival was held on November 4th to 5th in Sichuan province with thousands of participants taking in attendance. 

Hikers and climbers over the age of 18 years were welcomed to walk along on the 7 km long route which started at Lianghekou and ending at Wannian parking area.

The festival is estimated to have accommodated a total of 2400 hiking and climbing enthusiasts. 

Free-tickets were also offered to residents of Leshan, where Mount Emei is located.
