Planning to go to Mount Emei scenic area in Sichuan province? The scenic spot is set to launch the much anticipated off-season ticket pricing policy from December 15th. For a month (December 15th 2017 to January 15th 2018), the price is set to be reduced from a whopping 185 yuan to just 110 yuan (17 US dollars) per person. Prices for cable car services will also be slashed from 120 yuan to a mere 50 yuan (7.5 US dollars) per person.

Mount Emei's first winter snowfall this year occurred on October 23rd, much earlier than expected compared to last year's. The snowfall marks the beginning of winter in the region.
