Africa is a continent with over a billion people, who live in more than 50 different countries. Unfortunately for a long time the continent has faced a perception problem from the outside world – with a narrative that is always a lot about catastrophes and epidemics and more often than not, the continent is conflated into a single country. But one woman in China is trying to change all that. Her name is Zahra Baitie; her mission is to highlight the positives and the dynamism of African communities and especially the African community living in China.
