Gilbert Van Kerckhove

He is a businessman, writer, professor, and an avid KTV fan. With almost 40 years living in China, Gilbert Van Kerckhove has not only seen first-hand the rapid transformation of China, but has also been part of its development. From taking part in the preparations of the Beijing Olympics to being a "Committee Member of the Specialist Working Group for the Beijing 12th Five Year Plan", Gilbert has seen it all. Today through his many tales as an old China hand, he continues to relive his experience since moving here almost four decades ago; offering anecdotes of his experiences adjusting to the local culture and his adventures living in the country. He speaks with Nillah Nyakoa in this edition of My China Story.
