He was a Grammy award winning jazz musician, a music genius and a heavyweight in the music industry that inspired many to play the trumpet and one who could brilliantly melt people's souls with his ballads. A global Jazz icon, Roy Hargrove won worldwide notice for his prolific talent inspiring many musicians of his generation with his style of music. Among the many places his musical talent was revered is China - where the jazz scene in the country is booming as more young musicians discover the genre. Here he is speaking with our colleague Olga Galperovich from our sister service CRI Russia when he toured China.
