Chinese tech firm Xiaomi unveils Mi Mix 2 smartphone

Chinese tech firm Xiaomi has held its 2017 MI product Launch event on Monday at Beijing, unveiling its new Mi Mix 2 mobile device.

The new mobile phone includes face-recognition technology to unlock the phone.

It also has an upgraded camera.

Xiaomi says it's planning to retail the new phone in a range of between 500 to 720 US dollars.

The company has also unveiled its new Mi Note 3 tablet at Monday's event.
