Huawei 5G obtains world's 1st "EU passport"

Huawei has announced its earned the world's first CE type examination certificate (TEC) for its 5G NR products.

CE is an essential certification for foreign products entering the European Economic Area. It's considered as a "passport" for access to the European market.

Obtaining the certificate indicate the tech giant's 5G products have won official approval for commercial use, a key step for large scale commercial production. 

Huawei's CE-TEC verified 5G C-band Massive MIMO AAU(Active Antenna Unit)is developed on the basis of 3GPP TS 38.104. It is designed to suit large traffic eMBB scenarios, being able to offer continuous xGbps outdoor experience and ms-level latency.
