Driverless delivery vehicle starts trials in Zhejiang

A driverless delivery vehicle was put to the test on roads in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province on Wednesday.

The smart vehicle was developed by Cainiao, a company devoted to building a smart logistics network in China.

The new vehicle, which has a top speed of 15 kilometers an hour, performed well in a 10-kilometer-long road test. It is expected to be fully operational by the end of this year.
