Chinese version of mobile game 'Traveling Frog' tested: Alibaba

Alibaba has announced that it has tested the Chinese version of "Traveling Frog," reports jiemian.com.

"Traveling Frog," which is translated from Japanese mobile game "Tabi Kaeru," has become a massive hit in China after it was first released in Japan in November 2017.

Alibaba obtained the exclusive rights to develop the Chinese version of the game by Japanese company Hit-Point on April 2.

The little green frog in the game spends much of its time gallivanting around Japan in the Japanese version.

In the Chinese version, the original tourist attractions in Japan have been transformed to scenic spots in China.

The screen shots of the Chinese version available online suggests the game will be named "Traveling Frog: Trip in China."
