Chinese own nearly 7.6 billion bank cards
Official data shows the number of bank cards in use in China reached 7.6 billion at the end of last year.

The figure was up 13 percent from a year earlier.
Chinese people had more than five bank cards on average.
More than 220 billion transactions were made through non-cash payments over the past year.
Among the bank cards in use, the number of debit cards rose 13 percent year-on-year to reach nearly 7 billion.
