China Unicom's 5G package includes 30 GB of data.

Customers will be able to tap into 5G services after switching to a 5G smartphone without changing their SIM card or phone number.

China Unicom is offering 40 GB of data for 159 yuan; 60 GB for 199 yuan; and 100 GB for 299 yuan.

Compared to the 5G plans available overseas, the carriers in China are offering much cheaper deals.

In South Korea, the carrier LG Uplus is offering 9 GB of data for 49 U.S. dollars a month, which is almost 350 yuan.
