Xi made his fourth trip to the United States in 2006 as Party Secretary of China's eastern Zhejiang province to promote economic and trade cooperation and communication.
He led a delegation to attend a celebration marking the 25th anniversary of the establishment of friendly province/state relations between Zhejiang and New Jersey.
During the trip he met the management of large US companies, including Henry Paulson, who was then CEO of Goldman Sachs.
