Female runner crawls last two meters to complete marathon

The video of a woman crawling to complete a marathon has gone viral online.

The marathon of the 13th National Games was held in Tianjin Municipality last Saturday. The temperature was 28 degree Celsius and made many runners give up the race, including some famous athletes.

Wang Ganghong, a runner from Ya'an city of Sichuan province, used up her strength about 700 meters from the finishing line.

Wang fell down to the ground four times and got up three times.

Failing to get up again for the fourth time, she crawled the last two meters to finish the race.

Her behavior has been praised by netizens as true Olympic spirit.

Wang has recovered well after medical treatment.
