An overview of China’s largest oil storage island
Aoshan Island, located to the south of Zhoushan Islands, east China’s Zhejiang province, is China's largest oil storage facility.

Occupying only 5.4 square kilometers, Aoshan is one of the most important energy facilities on the eastern coast.
It has been serving as a petro-chemical storage logistics platform for 27 years, and can accommodate oil tankers carrying loads of up to 375,000 tonnes.
