After arriving late to his train, the would-be passenger attempted to pry open the door to his train to get onboard.

Instead, the powerful doors snapped shut on his hand as the train was leaving the station, taking the man on a short, but undoubtedly frightening run down the platform.

The man was eventually freed from his predicament without injury.

Changzhou Railway Station officials say the passenger was at fault in the incident, and is reminding people about the potential dangers posed by trains.
