Apps and Internet prove lucrative for Chinese college grads: study

University graduates in China working in positions, including Internet Technical Development and Applications are earning the highest salaries among their graduating classes, according to a report on university graduates' salary situation issued by MyCOS Research Institute.

A Chinanews.com report, citing the MyCOS study, says students working in Internet tech and on apps are earning an average of 5,679 yuan per month, half a year after graduation in China. 

Computer and Data Processing jobs are earning an average of 5,636 yuan.

University graduates who end up working in real estate management are earning an average of 5,057 yuan, according to the report.

The MyCOS analysis did surveys among Chinese college graduates dating back to 2013.

Among those who graduated in 2013, those working in either the legal or healthcare sectors are now earning the highest average wages.
