Northwestern Polytechnical University (NWPU) in Shaanxi's capital, Xi'an, says its new admission notice has a Virtual Campus embedded in it.

Before being able to 'step foot' on the Virtual Campus, students need to download an app developed by NWPU.

Then, once they scan the notice, information about the university will appear on their phones.

While the front side features explanations about the university's past and present, as well as the courses it offers, QR codes on the back of the letter grant the student access to dynamic presentations of the university's characteristics.
