Children play on narrow 11th story balcony

A video shot from a neighboring apartment shows a young girl and boy crossing into each other's apartments across a narrow 11th story balcony in the city of Wuhu, Anhui Province, July 18, 2017.

Police in the city have uploaded a video meant to warn parents about the proper supervision of their children. A young girl and boy are seen shimmying across a narrow balcony on the 11th floor of an apartment building to enter one another's homes. At one point, the young boy crosses behind the girl to make it to the other side.

There was no adult in one of the homes. While there was one in the other, the adult didn't pay any attention to the kids.

After showing the video to the families of the children, the parents of both have promised to pay closer attention to their children.

Online comments mostly point the finger at the parents for not being attentive enough.
