Wanda denies Wang Jianlin under government restrictions

Wanda Group has issued a statement on Monday, denying that company chair Wang Jianlin is under travel restrictions.

The company statement says it believes the reports have been circulated with ulterior motives.

Wanda Group is also threatening to take legal action against anyone found trying to harm the company's reputation.

The statement from Wanda follows a report on Friday which suggested Wang Jianlin and his family were blocked from leaving China.

Wanda says its now compiling information related to the report and intends to file a lawsuit against person behind the social media account that made the report.
