Technology, art, culture collide in Hefei

The tour commenced with a visit to the Institute of Advanced Technology, which is a part of the University of Science and Technology at Hefei. The importance of this prime institution precedes it. The presentation comprised the breakthrough in Quantum Particle, moulding technology, medicine, airborne early warning platforms, unmanned aerial vehicles and numerous others.

The Speech Valley showcased numerous items and a breakthrough in audio visual technology, including aural recognition, instant language translation devices and software as well as an impressive array of Virtual Reality gadgetry.

IFlyTech is an amazing organization, which specializes in voice recognition technology and employing it to impart command signals to various functions, which include domestic chores, handling kitchen gadgetry to imparting class room lessons and driving instructions.

The organizers planned the tour in such a way that there was a linkage in every avenue of the stopovers. Every gadgetry presented saw its optimum utilization in the “Smart City” concept showcased in Yinchuan. 

When technology, art and culture combine, the result is extraordinary. Protection of cultural projects in Hefei is one such example, where exquisite works of art produced in various mediums combine to provide a surrealistic effect and preserve the traditions and mores of Hefei in particular and China in general. 

At the Hefei Binhu Century Community Center, the advantages of community living and its happy marriage with technology, especially the internet was explained. Technology is enhancing the quality of life of the community and enabling people to solve their issues on line.

An exposé of local culture is incomplete without a visit to the Lei Jie Culture Creativity Town where various varieties of local cuisine is showcased. Stand-in comedians can add to the pleasure with local flavoured comedy.
