A recent survey by French consulting firm Ipsos has found that over 80 percent of people in China are optimistic about the future development of the county, the highest among all 26 countries surveyed.

A number of observers are suggesting that with an agenda of reform and a campaign against corruption, China will continue down its path of sustainable development, setting a good example for the rest of the world.

Simon Khaya Moyo, senior official with Zimbabwe's ruling party, the Zimbabwe African National Union - Patriotic Front, suggests that the anti-corruption campaign launched by Chinese government has offered a good example for his country.

"We admire the actions they've taken I fighting corruption. We are fighting corruption here and it's not easy to fight. We must learn from your experiences and those directly in charge of this area."

While addressing the CPC congress, Chinese President and general-secretary of the CPC, Xi Jinping, has called for the building of a community of shared destiny and has emphasized that China will never seek hegemony or expansion.

In terms of China's foreign policy, Xi Jinping has said China will continue with its opening-up policy, actively participate in global governance, advocate democratization of international relations, and contribute Chinese strength to the international community.

Laurie Pearcey, assistant principal of the University of New South Wales, suggests that China contributes to globalization amid multiple challenges facing other parts of the world.

"Xi Jinping's report conveys China's interest in international engagement and these days when the Chinese leadership speaks about china's economy Chinese political direction and especially China's growing global interests then the whole world listens. China is playing a much more important role in in terms of shaping global society discourse on international affairs ."

"The differences among various countries has been enlarged. Yet China's proposal can help countries become reunited. No one in the world can live alone with dignity without other people. So we should all work together to eliminate political barriers to change a bad situation. Only by achieving this can we improve people's livelihoods to a new level and satisfy people's needs for things like healthcare, education, transportation and so on."

Others are suggesting the commitment and achievements being made in the world's largest developing country and second largest economy provide the global economy with a promising direction.
