A 56-year-old man from Yinan County in Shandong Province has become famous on Chinese social media because of his name. Zhi Fubao, which is also the Chinese name of Alipay, went viral after China’s annual “Double 11” online shopping festival. The name has been verified by Chinese media.

Zhi Fubao explained that his family name is “Zhi,” all his cousins share the same generational middle name of “Fu,” while "Bao" is the name he was given by his parents.
