A man added a straight arrow to a road sign for a left turn at a crossroad in Lianyungang, Jiangsu province and was then detained on November 27, 2017.

The man said he did this because there had been many traffic jams at the crossroad.

He was fined 1,000 yuan (151 US dollars) for changing traffic signs.
