Around two hours after the plane took off, the young boy started having difficulty breathing after eating nuts his parents had brought onboard.

Two doctors, one from China the other from the US, responded to a call put out by the air crew.

They were able to administer epinephrine provided by crew members and asthma drugs offered by a passenger.

The flight crew was then able to care for the child for the remainder of the flight.
