President Xi Jinping's advocacy for creating a shared future, an open economy, globalization and fighting protectionism and isolationism has been widely welcomed, said Liu He, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, in his address at the annual World Economic Forum meeting, happening now.

High-quality growth, instead of high-speed development, will dominate China's development in the coming years.

The world should pay attention to a "spillover effect" of some big countries' monetary and financial policies.

China is preparing a new reform package, which will be announced when China celebrates the 40th anniversary of reform and opening-up at the end of this year.

The financial sector, manufacturing and services industries, intellectual property rights and imports are four in-focus reform areas for China this year.
