Sanya Duty Free Mall receives over 150,000 visitors in 1st quarter

The daily visitor volume of China Duty Free Group (CDF), located in Sanya, south China's Hainan, has already reached 150,000 in the first quarter of this year and is still on the rise. Data shows that during the Spring Festival, there were 258,000 visitors over the 7 day holiday.

According to tax rules in Hainan, Chinese visitors from outside Hainan can enjoy an annual duty free quota of 16,000 yuan (around 2,500 US dollars).

CDF opened in 2014 with around 100 international brands in it. Big names such as KENZO, FINDI, YSL have chosen here to house their largest global tourism stores. The shops also allow travelers to order online and collect their purchases at the airport as they leave.
