China's support base in Djibouti unveils badge and armband

Soldiers at China's army support base in Djibouti will wear unified badges and armbands starting next month.

Design of the badge is made up of an army emblem, a five-pointed star, a shield, a crenel of the Great Wall and two olive branches.

The armband, specially designed for China's military base in the African country, is made up of China's national flag, an olive branch, as well as the Chinese and English scripts of "China PLA Support Base in Djibouti," meaning the Chinese military support base in Djibouti is an important force in maintaining world peace and stability.
