The Tuanyuan ("Reunion") system helps local police by sharing information about children lost in a local area to media organizations and users of apps that are partnered with the Tuanyuan system.

The new edition is the fourth expansion of the system, which now links to an expanded list of news agencies and online services. These include the Xinhua News app, ele.me food delivery app, and Dianwanda logistics app.

Up to this point, a total of 25 companies have partnered with the Tuanyuan system. Information on 3,053 lost children has been published on the system, and as of May 15 this year, 2,980 of the children have been found.
