Female-only lanes set up in Guangzhou pool

Management at the Guangzhou Xijiao Swimming Pool has taken the unusual step of setting aside lanes for female swimmers. According to a report in the Guangzhou Daily on Saturday, a staff member at the pool said the female-only swimming lanes have been set up in the indoor pool.

Built in 1930, the Guangzhou Xijiao Swimming Pool is one of the oldest pools in Guangzhou. Renovated in January this year, it has both indoor and outdoor pools, a children's pool, and a sand beach.
