Successful trial of automated farm completed in Jiangsu

China is building its first fully automated farm in Jiangsu Province after the successful completion of a trial project, reports Digital Paper. 

During the trial, a total of 14 unmanned vehicles and drones farmed a 33 hectare property using automated navigation technology working in conjunction with the Beidou Navigation System.

Authorities plan to introduce unmanned machinery on farms across China by 2025.
