Most English fans have been somewhat subdued about the advent of the 2018 World Cup.

In contrast with Germany, where I spent last week in a buzz of football hype, there seems to be a general consensus that the England team won’t be in Russia for too long before being knocked-out.

One fan, however, has defied the blues and is showing his support for England in a truly gargantuan manner.

The photograph above shows a real, large house, entirely covered in an England flag.

The flag (and the house) belong to John Jupp from Blyton, who originally purchased it for around £300 from a Chinese firm a few years ago.

This is the fourth time that John has used the flag, which is so vast that his family have to use the rear entrance to access the property.

And whilst he’s happy to rally behind the team, even John isn’t that hopeful for English World Cup success – he told reporters that he thinks they’ll be knocked-out at the Quarter Finals.
