On Saturday, the watermelon vendor parked in a busy area next to the train station. He was stopped by the traffic police officers for breaking the road rules, and taken to the traffic police station where he was fined and given a lecture about his behavior.

But, understanding the difficulties faced by small traders trying to make a living, the traffic police volunteered to buy all of his melons.
