Beijing-Hong Kong fast train travel time to fall to 9 hours next month
The Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High-Speed Railway will go into service in September, according to an announcement on Friday by MTR Corporation.

The new 26-kilometer-long rail link starting at Kowloon West Station connects Hong Kong with the mainland's high-speed rail network. This will make it possible for passengers to travel from Beijing to Hong Kong in as little as nine hours.
