China education expo attracts over 500 schools

The 2018 China Education Expo was held in Beijing over the weekend, attracting more than 400 educational institutions from about 30 countries and regions.

The participants included 40 leading universities from Russia, the country of honor of the expo.

The event also drew a number of academic institutions from countries along the Belt and Road routes, such as those from Southeast Asia and Central and Eastern Europe.

After Beijing, the education expo will tour other Chinese cities including Chengdu, Guangzhou and Shanghai until the end of next week.
