Former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon says the China International Import Expo is significant for the world today, and helps spread the benefits of multilateralism.

China's first ever expo focusing on what to buy from other countries will be held from today until Saturday in Shanghai.

CRI's Ge Anna spoke with the former UN leader at a forum in Beijing on urban development.
