To help the world better understand Chinese discourse in political affairs, the multilingual termbase covers nine languages including Chinese, English, French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Arabic, Russian and Korean.

It provides free access to over 20,000 standardized translations for terms used in areas such as Chinese politics, economics, diplomacy, poverty alleviation, and many other fields. It's available on both computers and mobile applications.

"More and more people are interested in presenting China to international audiences," said Professor Huang Youyi, Executive Vice-President of the Translators Association of China. He added translation has been a bridge and bond to facilitate learning from the experiences of other countries, and it enables the world to better understand China.

As one of the translators of the Chinese President's Book "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China," Huang Youyi also says there is still a big need to better understand China's way of development. Xi's book presents the real picture of China, serving as an essential bridge to understanding China now and in the future.
