This Spring Festival is a special one for a college student named Lv Jinyang. He traveled 720km during Spring Festival to take free family photos for other people. Lv returned to his grandmother's place on February 10th, which marked the last day of this year's spring festival break. There, he took the 72nd family photo for other people. But his journey has not come to an end yet.

Lv is majoring in photography. He hatched the idea of taking free family photos for other people just ahead of the holiday. His goal is to take 100 family photos and eventually combine them.

Lv started to work on his project on January 20th. At first, he went door to door to pitch his free photo idea to strangers, but the idea wasn't received very well. So he started to look for opportunities to take family photos for friends and relatives and then get their recommendations afterwards. Gradually, he was able to cast a wider net and take pictures for other people.

Lv worked on his project diligently and did not take one day off during Spring Festival. He is still 28 photos short for his goal and he decided to keep taking photos until he can complete the set.

Lv is hoping at some point he can take another set of pictures to show the different lifestyles of people, at work and at home. He was inspired by people's change at home when he was taking family photos for them. He wants to capture the differences and create another set in the future.
