Aamir Khan in Beijing for a forum on Asia's cultural influence

A forum being held alongside the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations on the global influence of Asian culture opened on Wednesday in Beijing.

Seventeen guests from the field of politics, the academy, and entertainment from India, Cambodia, and Argentina came to the forum, including the Indian actor Aamir Khan.

Speaking at the forum, Aamir Khan said Asian movies bring global audiences closer to Asian cultures, and that they should focus more on what story they want to tell the world.

When talking about the civilizations of China and India, he said both countries have contributed a lot to global civilization, as China invented paper and printing and India invented the number zero.

He said during his speech that he hopes to see Asian values influence the world in a positive way.
