Restaurant offers free meals to seniors in east China

Hundreds of seniors were seen gathering in a special restaurant in Qingdao to celebrate the one-year anniversary of its opening.
Situated in Qingdao, Shandong Province, the restaurant has been providing free meals to seniors including widows and the disabled.
In the past year, more than 27,000 free meals have been provided to seniors aged over 80. More than 4,800 volunteers have been working in the restaurant.
The restaurant is sponsored by a charity in Qingdao, and has received donations from all around the country
