Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote speech at the opening of the 2018 Boao Forum for Asia on Tuesday.

The theme of this year's forum is "An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of Greater Prosperity". The event, held in the coastal town of Boao in the southern island province of Hainan, is scheduled to run from April 8 to 11.
