Stopping at the lawn in front of the house, Peng enjoyed local music played by a women's string quartet. The artists also played a piece of tango music for Peng.

Praising their skills, Peng said that she felt connected to Argentine culture through its music. She invited the artists to visit China to perform, and expressed her hope that they will contribute to the cultural exchanges between the two countries.

Peng also toured the house, and learned about its history, accompanied by Juliana Awada and other spouse of G20 leaders.

Located in the suburbs of Buenos Aires, the Italian-style building was the former residence of Argentine female writer and social activist Victoria Ocampo (1890-1979), who met with many famous political and cultural figures in the house. The house became a UNESCO property in 1973.
